How I feel about it

My family is crazy over music. I come from a line of past singers, my mom is a singer and is well-known over the Marshall Islands, same goes for my grandpa. The point is my family loves and play music and instruments all the time, I grew up hearing the sounds of comforting music, and my overall feeling for instrument and music is quite positive.

history in music

My family history in music starts with my mother's side of the family, My grandpa wrote music with deep meanings all written and sung in our national language. He would usually write songs about love, cheating, abandonment, and many serious topics. He uses words from our culture and someimes other languages that can be found in marshall islands.

why music

music is melodies woven into one big parody. It is like speaking to the soul through beautiful and delicate instruments. There is a saying that goes "You understand the lyrics if thats what you are feeling" and I feel like that is absolutly true! because emotions often speak to us, that voice in your head your using to read this sometimes talks to you about emotions, whether it's "why am I like this" or "How could they do that?" that is part of emotions and the right song can meak you feel better.

What instruments do we usually play

we usually play ukulele guitar, bass, drums, and piano. My grandpa plays guitar. Instruments are what makes the song catchy, if you were to just sing it without any instruments, you would sound like a poet. That isn't necessarily bad but if you want to get an audience, it's best you stick to music because music is more listened to than poems, and instruments play an essential role in the making of music.

Has music affected my life?

Music affected my life positively. When I feel stress or want to sleep or maybe I'm just bored, the first thing I think of is music. I have no idea why, i just feel like I could always rely on music if I have time to waste. Listening to soothing melodies while going to sleep just hits differently, sometimes I can't sleep because I replay the same song over and over again for some odd reason.

what is music to me?

I feel like I said "music" a lot but that's just how it goes, anyways, I feel like music is a blessing. I mean it dates back to millions of years ago (I think). Solomon in the bible wrote songs so it's only logical to say it does. I feel like music is a blessing because it helps thousands of people worldwide. It's amazing how people could be completely different, yet on a certain music they agree.
